Enable GingerThe Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre has issues an Amber Advisory for Heavy Rain with effect from 08.30 am of 01 September, 2022 until 8.30 pm of 01 September, 2022.
According to the Advisory Notice,
Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western and Northern provinces and in Anuradhapura, Galle, and Matara districts.
Heavy showers about 100mm may occur at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Northern provinces.
