New Delhi: The weather has once changed its mood across the country and it is raining incessantly in many areas. In this episode, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in many areas even today.
Due to the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, many areas of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar are receiving heavy rains. Along with this, it is also raining continuously in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain with thundershowers at isolated places over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.
Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland today.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a strong possibility of heavy rains in Konkan, Goa and parts of Maharashtra.
