Weather Update: Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely in THESE states during next 3 days

New Delhi: These days, the rains of the second phase of monsoon have gained full momentum across the country. Due to this rain, there has been a flood-like situation in many states, while in many states the farmers have got relief. In this episode, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain in many areas even today.

In fact, the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal has become more effective. It will pass through Odisha and adjoining areas in the next few hours. Due to this, there is a forecast of heavy rain in many areas of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Rajasthan as well. At the same time, there will be rain in many areas in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.

It is being told that from this evening the weather will turn again in Delhi-NCR and rain activities will start which is likely to continue till August 22.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a strong possibility of heavy rains in Konkan, Goa and parts of Maharashtra.
