Uttarakhand Mass Murder: Man kills 5 members of own family; slits throats of mother, wife, children

Mass Murder in Uttarakhand: A case of murder of five members of the same family has come to light in the Doiwala area of Dehradun in Uttarakhand. The deceased included mother, wife and three daughters of the accused. The police has arrested the accused. He is being interrogated.

The bodies of all the victims have been sent to Coronation Hospital for post-mortem.

Doiwala tense after the incident

The accused killed his mother, wife and three children by slitting their throats. After the incident, there has been a stir in Doiwala. police is investigating the matter. DIG Garhwal Karan Singh Nagar Naganyal reached the spot.

Interrogation started after taking the accused into custody

SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar and SP Dehat Kamlesh Upadhyay reached the spot.

The interrogation has been started by taking the accused into custody. After reciting the puja, the accused killed every member of the family. At the same time, a daughter of the accused had gone to her aunt’s place, which is safe.

The accused worked as a priest

He works as a priest. Her mother was mentally unsound while a daughter was disabled. It is being told that one of his brothers lives in Rishikesh. His brother has reached Ranipokhari. The police is taking information from him.

Know why the victims were killed

SSP Dehradun Dalip Singh Kunwar told that the accused Mahesh did not do any work. His elder brother Umesh used to give money every month for expenses. The accused used to do worship throughout the day. There was a dispute between Mahesh and his wife regarding this matter.

There was a dispute on Monday morning as well. During this, the wife left the worship and asked to help with breakfast. On which there was an argument between the two. After the altercation, the accused Mahesh killed the five.
