Situations to worsen in 4 days

According to the IMD, moderate to heavy rains are expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from August 27-29 and August 25-29 for the next five days in Assam and Meghalaya. At the same time, very heavy rain is likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on August 27.

At the same time, there is a forecast of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on August 29. While there is a possibility of rain in South Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu for the next five days.

Delhi will not witness heavy rainfall

According to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department, Delhi will be generally cloudy for the next five to six days and very light rain may occur. According to the IMD, there is no possibility of heavy rain in Delhi till the end of August.

The Meteorological Department said in its forecast that due to the formation of a cyclonic circulation area in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the southern part of the state in Gangetic West Bengal.

East India to witness worsening situations

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, it will be limited to North Chhattisgarh, West Jharkhand and adjoining Bihar, Southeast Uttar Pradesh and Northeast Madhya Pradesh. During this, scattered rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur in these parts.

Thereafter, as the weather system advances over Madhya Pradesh, the spread and intensity of the weather will increase and cover East and Central Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The peripheral of the system will reach East Vidarbha, West Jharkhand and adjoining Bihar and Southeast Uttar Pradesh. Later, the Monsoon System will influence the weather activities over West and North Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
