Enable GingerKanchana Wijesekara, Minister of Power and Energy, says that steps have been taken to end the existing long queues of vehicles at petrol stations.
The minister has mentioned this in a tweet.
The Minister stated that the fuel distribution has been reviewed and instruction has been given to distribute additional stocks of all types of fuel throughout the island within next three days.
The Minister further said that delays in landing, delivery deficiencies, delay in payment for orders by petrol stations have led to the creation of long queues.
