Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki has stated that it is important for all lending countries to come together to discuss the economic crisis in Sri Lanka. The Finance Minister also said that Japan will coordinate with other creditors, Reuters reported.
“We are concerned about the dire socio-economic situation in Sri Lanka,” the finance minister said. President Ranil Wickremesinghe told Reuters last month that he would urge Japan to invite major creditor countries to talks on bilateral debt restructuring.
