New Delhi: Raju Srivastava is currently receiving treatment at the AIIMS in Delhi. Deepu Srivastava, his younger brother, has stated that his fans’ prayers are being answered as he recovers under the care of the best medical team. Shekhar Suman also stated that “things are looking better” for Raju, and that he appears to be doing much better than he was on Thursday.
On August 10, Raju was working out at the gym when he complained of chest pain. After running on the treadmill, he went into cardiac arrest. He was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi and underwent angioplasty shortly afterwards.
According to ANI, Deepu Srivastava said in a video message that while Raju is still in the hospital, he is confident that his fans’ prayers are being heard. He stated that his brother is receiving the best possible health care and is recovering at the hospital under the care of the best team of medical professionals.
He also denied rumours about Raju’s health and urged people not to believe them. He requested that Raju’s fans continue to send him well-wishes. “He is a fighter who will soon win the battle and entertain everyone with his comedy,” he predicted.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Shekhar Suman too shared a health update about Raju. He wrote, “Raju’s latest update is that he seems out of that critical condition he was in yesterday. The best doctors, and neurosurgeons are attending on him and things are looking better. I feel Raju’s own will to fight and our collective prayers are being heard by the almighty. har har mahadev.”
