Prabhas’s next with director Maruthi to go on the floors in November: Reports

New Delhi: Prabhas has teamed up with director Maruthi and RRR producer DVV Danayya dor a super-natural thriller. Now in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Maruthi informs that the film will go on floors this November itself.

Maruthi said, “November onwards it will start. There is no delay, it is a very big film. He (Prabhas) is doing two-three projects and is very busy. So according to his dates and comfort we have to start. So November we start. We will be shooting in India, nothing abroad. We haven’t finalised the exact locations though. (The film is) definitely happening. We are doing a Puja also in this week.”

Meanwhile, the actress for the movie is not finalised yet as per the information by the filmmaker. He added that they will also approach Hindi film actresses for the leading lady’s role.

Prabhas on the work front

On the work front, Prabhas has Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. the film will also feature Shruti Haasan.

Salaar is an out-and-out mass action and adventure film which is shot around the globe in countries such as India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The first installment of the project is already completed, and Prabhas will soon shift his entire focus to completing the last installment. While the entire team is going extensive with their effort to execute the film well, the maximum grind will go into VFX for which the makers have hired a foreign studio to complete this. The bar for the movie has already been set quite high.

Next up he has Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in the pipeline.

He has already completed shooting for Om Raut’s Adipurush with Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, and will begin filming for Siddharth Anand’s stylish action-thriller backed by Mythri Movie Makers from mid-2023.
