Diluni Jayasekera, Director – Brand Intelligence of Brand Centrical, was conferred the “Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year – 2022” award at the Top 50 Professional & Career Women Awards ceremony held in Dubai last month.
Diluni left a marketing career at its peak at a leading agency to co-found Sri Lanka’s first Brand Agency at age 24. Since then, she has contributed tremendously to shaping the new brand-led marketing era of Sri Lanka.
‘Diluni is one woman who chose the hard path to success and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with a male counterpart for the last nine years to change the course of a decades-old industry, a press release said.
