New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh recorded his statement to the Mumbai Police on Monday in connection with a case filed  against him for posting naked pictures of himself online, according to an official.

In Mumbai’s Chembur police station, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against Ranveer Singh last month as a result of a complaint made by an official of a non-governmental organisation (NGO). He was then given a summons by the police to participate in the case investigation.

Around seven in the morning on Monday, the actor showed up before the investigating officer, and his statement was taken down, the official said.
