Enable GingerThe Ceylon Petroleum Corporation announces that it has enough fuel stocks for distrbution including diesel, petrol and kerosene without any shortage.
The Sapugaskanda refinery has been restarted and necessary steps have been taken to continue producing fuel, the corporation said.
According to the announcement, all fuels including diesel, petrol and kerosene are produced at the Sapugaskanda Refinery and imported fuel is avalable at Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela storage terminals.
The procurement activities required for the future fuel supply are currently being done and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation informs the public not to be misled by false advertisements that claim that there is no fuel and not to create any undue fear.
It is further stated in the announcement that the corporation is working to reduce the queues at the filling stations by speedily disturbing the fuel without any shortage.
