Enable GingerThe National Building Research Organization has issued a landslide risk notification for 4 districts due to the rain that has affected the island.
Kegalle, Kandy, Matale and Ratnapura districts belong to these four districts.
People are informed to be alert as slope collapses, rockfalls, landslides and land subsidence may occur in those districts.
Also, since the turbulent condition of the lower atmosphere is near the island, many parts of the island may experience rain or thunder from time to time, according to the Department of Meteorology.
