New Delhi: The cat’s finally out of the bag! Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor’s first project as ‘ko-actors’ is out. Much to the excitement of fans, the duo has collaborated for a promotional campaign for Hotstar’s new show House Of The Dragon, a prequel to the wildly popular show Game of Thrones.
The advertisement shows Janhvi and Sara discussing House of the Dragon. So there are two types of people in the world, one who have watched GOT and others who have not. While Janhvi is a Thronie, Sara is a total stranger to the show. Now, Janhvi believes House of the Dragon is only for GOT fans, Sara is here to quash all the myths. All in all, the campaign promoted the idea that HOTD is a whole new story and it’s for everyone. Watch the ad below:
Talking about the HOTD, thee series will tell the story of the Targaryen Civil War, which occurred 300 years before the events depicted in Game of Thrones.
The show tells the story of a Targaryen family that fights amongst themselves for the right to the Iron Throne. The series can be quite similar to Game of Thrones, with the hunger for power and the fight for succession, but with many new twists.
Janhvi Kapoor, meanwhile, will next be seen in Bawaal with Varun Dhawan. The duo recently summed up the shooting of the film across Europe. Apart from Bawaal, Janhvi also has Mr and Mrs Mahi in her pipeline. She will also be seen in Mili, which will mark her first collaboration with father Boney Kapoor. The actor will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Dostana 2.
Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s next with Vicky Kaushal. She will also co-star Vikrant Massey in Gaslight.
