New Delhi: The rains of the second round of monsoon are now proving fatal for the people. Due to the rains and floods in the states of the country, there has been a lot of destruction. In many states of the country, the danger of overflowing rivers has also increased. Heavy rains have caused havoc in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in many areas even today. In MID, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bihar and Uttarakhand till Tuesday and in West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeast India for the next four days. Along with this, heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
Many states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Odisha have been receiving rain for the last several days. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a yellow alert warning in many parts of Uttarakhand. Along with this, heavy rains have been predicted in Odisha and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Interior Karnataka will also receive heavy rains in the next few days.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, Northeast India, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, East and Central Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Light to moderate rain is possible over Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Lakshadweep. With this, rain activities are likely to intensify over Northeast India including Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Heavy rain may occur at isolated places in these areas.
