The leaders of Seychelles, Denmark, Zimbabwe, Serbia and Ethiopia have congratulated President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Sending a congratulatory message to Wickremesinghe, Seychelles President Wavel Ramkalawan has stated that Sri Lanka will overcome all challenges under the leadership of the current President and achieve economic stability and development.
Mette Frederiksen, Denmark’s Prime Minister has said during President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s rule he hopes to continue the cooperation between the two countries unabated. Zimbabwe President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has expressed that he hopes to work very closely on further developing bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, while congratulating President Wickremesinghe, has stated that he believes that the traditional and bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to grow and he will give his personal contribution to it. The President of Ethiopia, Sahle Work Zewde has expressed his confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries will be further strengthened under Wickremesinghe.
