Pooja Gehlot has won against the player of Scotland against Christelle Letchid Jio by 12-2 VSU1.

After winning the silver medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships in 2019, Gehlot became the only second Indian woman wrestler along with her sister Geeta Phogat to win a medal at the prestigious event.

Pooja has won Bharat Kesari title awarded by the Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs in 2018. She also won a gold medal in the Asian Junior Championship in Taiwan in 2017.

Naveen wins his first game by 13-3 against Nigerian Ogbonna John.

Vinesh Phogat wins first game against Canada Samantha Stewart by 2-0 VFA withing just 36 seconds.

Wrestler Vinesh Phogat is one of the top Indian contenders to secure a medal at this year’s Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Birmingham. With two golds in the previous two editions, the 27-year-old Indian wrestler will be aiming to complete a hat-trick at Birmingham 2022.

Phogat will compete in the 53-kg category at this year’s CWG. In the previous two editions, she had competed in the 48-kg and 50-kg categories respectively.
