Birmingham: India wrestler Mohit Grewal has won bronze medal in the Freestyle 125kg category. Grewal defeated Jamacian Aaron Johnson.
This is first medal for Mohit Grewal in CWG2022.
In the previous bout, Divya Kakran scripted history by bagging a bronze medal in the Freestyle 68kg category in just 26 seconds.
Indian woman wrestler Sakshi Malik won gold medal after defeating Canadian star Ana Gonzalez by pinning in last moments.
Earlier, India wrestler Bajrang Punia and Deepak Punia won the gold medal in the men’s freestyle 65kg category.
Another India women wrestler, Anshu Malik won the silver medal but couldn’t control her tears from flowing down her cheeks after losing the game.
