Arunachal Pradesh hit with a 5.5 magnitude earthquake

New Delhi: Arunachal Pradesh was hit an earthquake today August 14, 2022 at 1.50 pm. The earthquake was measured to be of magnitude 5.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be at Basar district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The National Center for Seismology took to the microblogging site Twitter, informing, “Earthquake of Magnitude:5.5, Occurred on 14-08-2022, 13:50:04 IST, Lat: 33.25 & Long: 92.76, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 614km NNW of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh.”
