New Delhi: A shocking incident of ragging and hooliganism has come to light from the Ratlam’s Government Medical College. Videos of not only ragging but intense hooliganism have come to the fore.
In the video, some students are making junior students stand in line and slap them in the face. Some are even speaking and juniors are bowing their heads down.
When the hostel warden reached the hostel after receiving a call the junior students, bottles were thrown at them from above. Anti-ragging committee is investigating this against the hooliganism done in the name of ragging.
The Dean of the college, Dr. Jitendra Gupta said that these students will soon be expelled from the college. Subsequently, following the investigation of the Anti Ragging Committee, a complaint has also been made to the police for registering a criminal case in this matter.
Warden, Dr. Anurag Jain said that he received a call from one of the junior students who was crying. On reaching the hostel, senior student tried to attack him by throwing bottles. When his wife arrived she was also hurled to go back. Rooms were searched after that and some objectional things were also recovered.
