‘TXT is the main event’: Fans hype K-pop band’s performance at Lollapalooza

TXT became the first K-pop act ever to perform on the Solana x Perry stage at Lollapalooza, which took place in Chicago, on July 30. This is a significant accomplishment for the group as Lollapalooza is one of the largest outdoor music festivals held annually in Chicago.

The group remarked about how honoured they are to be performing on such a large platform as they opened their performance with “Good Boy Gone Bad” and “Frost,” two of their most recent songs. Many of the group’s successes, including “Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go,” “Anti-Romantic,” “LO$ER=LOER,” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),” were also performed.

In addition, TXT that recently collaborated on a song with vocalist Iann Dior also welcomed the guest who unexpectedly showed up, and the two of them played “Valley of Lies” together.

TXT just finished the US leg of their “ACT: Lovesick” world tour, and their appearance at Lollapalooza marked the end of their US tour schedule.

TXT’s Lollapalooza performance also saw presence from BTS members Jimin and J-hope. Notably, both TXT and BTS operate under the same label – HYBE Entertainment.
