A Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Lalith Warnakumara was involved in a shooting incident following an argument on Thursday night in the Horana Dombagoda.
The Member of Parliament who had participated in an alms giving at a house in Dombagoda,Horana on Thursday night (07) had an argument with the people there.
He had then left the premises to return later in a vehicle and fired several shots into the air and in the direction of the house where the alms giving was held. He had then fled the scene. Further investigations are being carried out by the Anguruwatota Police.
