PUCSL to probe power outage at Fifth Lane

The Public Utilities Commission says that an investigation is being conducted regarding the power outage which happened in the area where the private residence of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is located in Fifth Lane Colombo at the time a group of protesters set the house on fire. The PUCSL said there was no planned power cuts in the area where the Prime Minister’s private residence is located after 6.00 pm yesterday.

The PUCSL said an investigation will be conducted regarding the power cut in the area including an on-site investigation to determine whether it was an act of sabotage.
