The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) yesterday said that there could be delays in restoring emergency breakdowns due to the present fuel crisis.
In addition the operations of the CEB Investigation Division have also been affected due to the fuel shortage. CEB sources said fuel shortage has also hampered the raids conducted by the unit
The CEB operations have been affected by the fuel crisis for the past few months. The restoring of breakdowns in rural areas were also hampered due to the fuel crisis.
