The beauty is all set to make her mark in the pageant world; she has successfully made it to the Top 31 state winners of Femina Miss India after winning Miss Kerala 2022 title.

Soumya Shashi Kumar is a fashion student and one of the strongest contenders of Femina Miss India 2022.
After associating with an NGO, she realised her purpose and has been training underprivileged youth. Soumya wants to be the voice of the needy, and her ultimate goal in life is to be satisfied with the changes she has made in people’s lives. She wants to work to help society grow stronger, for the benefit of the young people in our country.

Soumya feels nothing is going to come easy, so keep at it and continue to do your best and make yourself proud every single day.
Narrating her struggle story, Soumya told a publication, “I started modelling when I was 18 years old; it was filled with ups and downs and extremely harsh rejections that made me question and base my worth on whether I would get a modelling gig or not. That’s the thing with modelling, it is a thirst that can almost never be quenched. Most of the time, I would have too much or too little on my plate. When there was too much, there was an insane amount of pressure that I would put on myself to get things done, and when there was too little, I would sink into a puddle of self-pity and existential crisis.”
Who’s Soumya’s inspiration?
Soumya considers Manasa Varanasi as her biggest inspiration. For her, Manasa is a perfect blend of beauty and intelligence, and she has the most warming presence ever. “This is a phase and feeling I will cherish for the rest of my life. I cannot wait for the sash because I’m pretty sure even my children will tire of seeing me flaunt it with pride and joy because I worked extremely hard and managed multiple things to get here. So I’m extremely overjoyed to get to where I was meant to be and am dedicated to putting my 100% in every step I take, ” she said.
The Femina Miss India 2022 will be announced on July 2.
