Weather Update: Heavy rain expected in many states, Delhi, UP, MP await monsoon

Weather Update:

An extreme heat wave continues to sizzle a large part of the country. On the other hand, monsoon rains have started in many states. In such a situation, the people of the states who are struggling with extreme heat are eagerly waiting for the monsoon. 

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the havoc of the heat wave will continue for two days in some areas of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The weather in the capital Delhi has been pleasant since this morning. Cloudy weather was witnessed in Delhi and NCR on Monday morning.

According to the IMD, Delhi may witness thundershowers from June 16. With this, strong winds are expected, but on June 15, 

Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha are forecast to start pre-monsoon activities from today, but temperatures in northern Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and northern Madhya Pradesh will remain above normal till June 15. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that no significant change in maximum temperature is likely in northwest India in the next four days.

Heavy rains forecast in many states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rains in many states. The maximum temperature in Delhi and other parts of northwestern India is not likely to get any major relief till June 15. 

Today, Monday, June 13, light to moderate rain is possible at one or two places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Northeast India, parts of coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, Southwest MP, Inner Maharashtra and Kerala and Tamil Nadu. North-East, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, South Inner Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Gujarat region and parts of southeastern Rajasthan may receive light to moderate rains. Similarly, light rain is possible in East Bihar, West Bengal and South East Madhya Pradesh.

Pre-monsoon rains in MP, know when monsoon will arrive

Pre-monsoon rains continue in Madhya Pradesh. The daytime temperature has started falling due to cloud cover and intermittent showers. This has relieved the scorching heat. On Sunday, day and night temperatures dropped sharply in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur, while maximum temperatures in Gwalior dropped slightly. 

The IMD informed that pre-monsoon activities have started in most of the districts of the state. On Monday, showers are likely in Indore, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Jabalpur division districts. Given the current situation, the monsoon is likely to enter the state four days after the fixed date of June 16 to June 20.

There is news of relief for the people of Punjab. Lu will get rid of it from Tuesday. The temperature will also decrease. This forecast is from Chandigarh. The director of the department, Dr. According to Manmohan Singh, the heat wave will continue on Monday but after that the weather will change after June 14. Clouds will cover the state and strong winds will also blow during this time. 

On June 15, thunderstorms are likely in some parts of Punjab, while on June 16, rain is expected in many districts of Punjab. 

However, it cannot be said right now whether it will be monsoon rains or western disturbances. Dr. Manmohan Singh said that the thing of relief is that people will not have to face the scorching sun.
