Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has declared the result of the examination conducted for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector. The candidates who had participated in this examination can now check their result through the official website of the board,

. Apart from the UP Police Sub Inspector Result, the board has also released the cut off and scorecard.

UP Police SI Exam 2022: The exam was held on this date

The online exam was conducted by the board from 12 November 2021 to 2 December 2021 for recruitment to these posts. 12,30,498 candidates had registered for this exam, out of which only 8,07,256 appeared for the exam. Successful candidates in this exam were then called for document verification and physical test. Now all the candidates can check their result through these steps on the official website.

Step 1- Go to the official website of the board,

Step 2- Click on the link of ‘Final Selection Result of Direct Recruitment-2020-21 for the posts of Sub Inspector (Civil Police) for men and women and Platoon Commander, PAC and Fire II Officer for men’ appearing on the home page. 

Step 3: A PDF of the result will appear on the screen.

Step 4: All the candidates can check and download their result.

Step 5- Take a printout for future references.

UPPBPB SI Recruitment 2022: Vacancies to be filled in these posts

Through this process, a total of 9534 vacancies including 9027 posts of Sub Inspector, 484 posts of Platoon Commander and 23 posts of Fire Officer will be recruited in Uttar Pradesh Police Department. For detailed information candidates can check official notification.

Maximum selection of candidates from UP

Maximum 9007 candidates of UP have been selected in the selection test. Apart from this, 527 candidates have been selected. After UP, 197 candidates from Madhya Pradesh and 172 from Bihar have been selected. 43 of Delhi, 39 of Rajasthan, 31 of Haryana, 21 of Uttarakhand, 15 of Jharkhand, 4 of West Bengal, 2 of Chhattisgarh and one candidate from Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Dadar Nagar Haveli have been selected for SI and equivalent posts.

60% selected candidates are below 25 years

According to the result released by the Police Recruitment Board, 60 percent of the candidates are below 25 years of age. Out of 9534 selected candidates, 6381 candidates are 25 years old. 835 candidates in the age group of 21 years have been selected. At the same time, at 22 years of 1270, 23 years of 1533, 24 years of 1445, 25 years of 1298, 26 years of 1125, 27 years of 785, 28 years of 382, 29 years of 191, 30 years of 148, 31 years of 98 , 49 of 32 years and 375 candidates of 33 years of age group or ex-servicemen category have been selected.
