Two persons were arrested by STF personnel in the Padukka area for storing 305 litres of diesel without a permit.
According to information received by STF Officers of the Organised Crime Unit II, on the instructions and instructions of STF Commanding Officer Waruna Jayasundara, Sub-Inspector of the Organised Crime Unit II SK Kahingala and a team of officers at the Kandawatta, Polwatta, Padukka area in the Padukka Police Division had arrested two persons, aged 41 and 33 on June 14.
The two suspects, residents of Hanwella and Padukka were arrested with a three wheeler storing 305 litres of diesel without a permit. The arrested suspects were handed over to the Padukka Police for further investigations.
