TVS Motor Company showcased the concept of Zeppelin Power Cruiser motorcycles at the 2018 car show. The company has not yet commented on the launch of the cruiser production model. However, a new media report states that the TVS Zeppelin cruiser ready for production will be launched in June 2022.
TVS is yet to make an official announcement on the launch of the new TVS Zeppelin Cruiser. The report says the new Zeppelin R will house a 220cc engine, a single-cylinder petrol engine with minimal hybrid technology. The concept was based on a 1200 watt regenerative assist engine with a 48 volt Lithium-ion battery.
The company says it delivers 20% more torque if needed. It will be India’s first bicycle to acquire a mild-hybrid system. The engine produces 20 bhp of power and 18.5Nm of torque, and may be equipped with a 5-speed gearbox.
The TVS Zeppelin R cruiser will deliver design pieces with a lot of features to mind. The concept has an LED headlamp, a fuel line with a glossy line, a split seat, a flat-track style 17-inch front and 15 inch rear 110/70 rear wheels and 140/70 tires in Pirelli.
The motorcycle may have a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. It will come with USD front forks and a monoshock unit in the back. The concept had an HD action camera embedded in the light nacelle, digital reading, integrated metal console with analogue rev counter, Smart Bio-Key and internet connection. These features will probably be removed from the final production model.
