Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday said that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has been informed that the vessel carrying petrol will be further delayed and the new date of arrival was expected to be announced later.
“The CPC was informed by the supplier, Petrol cargo confirmed to arrive yesterday was being delayed and will arrive Friday. Unfortunately CPC has been informed a further delay and a new date of arrival will be confirmed later today. I apologize for the delay and yesterday’s update”, the Minister tweeted.
