Shah Rukh Khan is the latest celebrity to test positive for Covid-19. The news comes a day after the actor revealed the first look poster of his upcoming film Jawan. In the poster, SRK can be seen posing in his wounded and wrapped look. Dropping the poster, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that Jawan is a special project and gave a shoutout to Atlee and his team.
Earlier, Bollywood actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Kartik Aaryan had tested positive forc coroavirus. As reported by E-Times, Aditya Roy Kapur, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Om: The Battle Within, has contracted the virus. On Saturday, Kartik Aaryan revealed that he has tested positive for COVID. Taking to his social media, he wrote, “Sab kuch itna Positive chal raha tha, Covid se raha nahi gaya (Everything was so positive, Covid couldn’t take staying behind).” Akshay Kumar too has recently recovered from COVID-19 infection.
This comes as Maharashtra continues to recoed tremendous rise in daily Covid cases. On Saturday, the state registered its highest tally in three months with 1,357 cases, including 889 in Mumbai.
“There is a rise in cases and we need to be cautious, but this isn’t the fourth wave,” said state public health department’s surviellance officer, Pradip Awate.
Coming back to Shah Rukh Khan, the actor has a busy scheduled ahead. He has three projects, including Pathaan, Dunki and Jawan, which will release in 2023.
