Actor Salman Khan’s security was strengthened by the Maharashtra Home Department on Monday after he and his father–screenwriter Salim Khan–received an anonymous death threat. After the letter came into light, Mumbai Police filed an FIR against unknown persons. Recently, a crime branch team also visited Salman’s residence. The visuals shared by news agency ANI show Salman Khan accompanying some police personnel outside his residence.

in Bandra. It was during his morning walk when the letter came into light. The screenwriter
goes for a morning walk every day as a part of his daily routine and there is a location where he typically takes a break. It was on the same bench that a chit had been left. Salim’s security staff gave him the chit which had “Moose Wala jaisa kar dunga” written on it. Punjabi singer Sidhu Mooswala was shot dead in Punjab on May 29.
A Times of India report quoted a police officer connected to the case as saying, “Salim Khan follows a morning routine where he goes for a walk on the promenade accompanied by his security personnel. There’s a location where he typically takes a break. A chit had been left behind on a bench.”
Salman, who had travelled to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA Awards 2022, returned to Mumbai on Sunday itself. He was the host of the event along with Maniesh Paul and Riteish Deshmukh.

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Tiger 3 opposite Katrina Kaif. He is also currently working on his next film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The actor also has a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham-starrer Pathaan. Recently, Salman also turned cheerleader for Shah Rukh Khan after the latter dropped the teaser and first look poster of his upcoming film Jawan. “Mere jawaan bhai ready hai @iamsrk,” Shah Rukh Khan wrote as he shared the teaser of Jawan on Instagram.
