Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government, has suffered a major setback. The High Court has refused to grant relief to Malik, who is seeking permission to go to the assembly for Rajya Sabha elections. Nawab Malik had asked the court to release him on bond or allow him to go to the assembly with the police to cast his vote in the Rajya Sabha elections.
