London-based global higher education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released the rankings of the world’s most prestigious international universities, naming Bangalore’s Indian Institute of Science (IISc) as the fastest growing university in South Asia. IISc Bangalore (IISc-Bengaluru) ranks 155th among the world’s higher educational institutions. Four IITs from India have also made it to the list of top 200 universities in the world in the international university rankings released by QS.

As per the ranking, OP Jindal Global University is the highest ranked private university in this list of QS for the third consecutive year. A total of 41 Indian universities have ranked in the QS ranking list, of which 12 have improved their ranks, 12 have no change in their rankings, 10 institutions have declined, while seven universities from the country have made it to the list for the first time. have been successful in making their place.
As per the rankings, 13 Indian universities have improved their research compared to other global competitors. At the same time, there has been a decline in the QS rankings of leading universities of the country like Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi University (DU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), University.
