A meeting between the National People’s Power (NPP) and the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) was held at the JVP head office in Pelawatta on Tuesday night.
NPP MP Dr.Harini Amarasuriya said that both Parties discussed the economic and political issues in the country during the meeting.
Dr.Amarasuriya said that there were occasions when they worked together with the Frontline Socialist Party on problematic issues in the country.She said that they discussed on how they can make interventions in the current issues in the country. Dr.Amarasuriya said that no decision or agreement was reached at this time regarding the issues discussed and that there was an exchange of views between the two parties.
Executive Committee member of National People’s Power Lal Kantha, Frontline Socialist Party’s Education Secretary Pubudu Jayagoda have also joined in the discussion
