NEET UG 2022 Postponed:
An important news has come out for the students who have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG 2022) to be conducted for admission to medical colleges across the country. A notice is going viral on social media since June 19, which states that NEET UG 2022 Postponed has been postponed, and will now be conducted on September 4.
This notice issued on social media has now been rejected by the Press Information Bureau and declared as fake. PIB Fact Check tweeted a post for the same, “A notice is doing rounds on social media claiming that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the NEET (UG) for 4th September 2022 instead of 17th July 2022. #PIBFactCheck. This notice is #Fake @DG_NTA has not issued any such notice.”
It has been claimed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled NEET UG to September 4 2022 instead of July 17 2022. It said that this notice is completely fake. No such notice has been issued by NTA. This fake notice has come to the fore at a time when students are demanding postponement of the NEET-UG 2022 exam using hashtags like #JUSTICEforNEETUG and #DeferNEETUG. However, no postponement of the exam has been confirmed by the NTA.
PIB has said that NEET UG Exam 2022 will be conducted on July 17 only (NEET UG 2022 date). Lakhs of students from across the country will participate in this exam. The admit card for this exam (NEET 2022 Admit card) will be issued 15 days before the exam, after which it is speculated that its admit card can be issued in the first week of July.
