'Murder vali selfie': Fan who clicked selfies with Sidhu Moose Wala shared his location with killers, suspect cops

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead at Jawaharke village of Mansa district on May 29. The unfortunate incident took place just a day after the Punjab Police withdrew the security of 424 people, including that of the Punjabi singer. This step was taken as part of the Bhagwant Mann government’s exercise to crack down on VIP culture. Now, days after Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, a new CCTV footage from his village has surfaced wherein he is seen taking selfies with fans before he was killed. 

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the CCTV footage dated May 29, the day the killing took place, shows Moose Wala’s stepping out from his jeep to click selfies with some people. The report further added two of these people played an important role in Sidhu’s killing as they were informants to his killer. 

Among those who posed as Sidhu’s fans, one person has been identified as Kekada, who conducted the recce. He reportedly spent 40 mins at the singer’s house before informing the killer. The reports also added that eight shooters, who were involved in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala have been identified. Meanwhile, as Punjab police continues to find more details into the case, it has been revealed that Sidhu Moose Wala had 19 bullet marks. According to a report published in NDTV, the late Punjabi singer’s autopsy suggested that the bullets had hit his kidneys, liver, lungs, and spine. 

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the Police have nabbed one more suspect in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case from Museahli village in Haryana’s Fatehabad. The arrested man, identified as Devendra alias Kala, allegedly provided shelter to two other suspects, Charanjit and Keshav.
