Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray calls for emergency meeting as Eknath Shinde reaches Surat with 11 MLAs

Mumbai:

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has called an emergency meeting of all Shiv Sena MLAs at 12 noon today, enraged by Shiv Sena and nine independent Shiv Sena-backed MLAs leaving the Shiv Sena in the Legislative Council elections.

This meeting will be held at the Chief Minister’s residence. Meanwhile, reports are coming that Eknath Shinde has reached Surat with 11 MLAs of the party.

While addressing party leaders and MLAs in Mumbai on the occasion of Shiv Sena’s foundation day on June 19, where did Uddhav Thackeray say that there is no traitor in Shiv Sena who sells mother’s milk. It was not even within 24 hours that the party chief’s statement that three Shiv Sena MLAs voted for the BJP candidate, Chandrakant Handore, another Congress candidate, had to face defeat. Shiv Sena is troubled by this treachery within the ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.

According to sources, the news of rift between Shiv Sena’s second leader and Maharashtra Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde and CM started coming before the Legislative Council elections. After the results of the Legislative Council, Minister Shinde has become not reachable. Eknath Shinde dominates a large group of Shiv Sena MLAs.

According to reports, Shinde has reached Surat with 11 party MLAs and has stayed here at Le Meridial Hotel.

It has to be seen how many MLAs of Shiv Sena reach today’s meeting. Because some MLAs postpone the meeting, it will become clear that all is not well in Shiv Sena, which is known for discipline. The biggest challenge before Uddhav Thackeray will be to find out those 3 MLAs who gave their votes to BJP.
