KK Last Rites LIVE:
The sudden death of Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, has shocked the entire entertainment industry. Veteran singer Hariharan reached Park Plaza residence to bid farewell to the popular artist KK.
The singer was in Kolkata for a concert and just shortly after performing he collapsed and was rushed to a hospital in the city where he was declared dead, on Tuesday. He was paid tribute and given gun salute in Kolkata in front of CM Mamata Banerjee and his body reached Mumbai late last night. Also, the ambulance has reached his residence Park Plaza to take him to the Versova Hindu Cremation Grounds.
KK’s funeral will be held on 2 June 2022 i.e. on Thursday. Singer’s body was brought to Mumbai on Wednesday around 9 pm and now, his last rites will be performed in Mumbai today. A huge gathering of Bollywood stars for KK’s last glimpse and tributes is expected.
Hours before his demise, the legendary singer performed at the Nazrul Mancha auditorium till 8.30 p.m. Suddenly, he fell ill and was brought to the CMRI hospital in Kolkata, where he was declared dead.
The news of his untimely demise has left his fan shattered and the entertainment industry under shock, the legendary singer was gifted with a boisterous yet mellifluous voice that will be remembered by his fans for many decades to come.
He is best known for his songs like “Zindagi Do Pal Ki” from the movie Kites, “Aankhon Mein Teri” from the movie Om Shanti Om, “Khuda Jaane” from the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno, “Tadap Tadap” from the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam among others.
