Karachi Temple Vandalism: Know what Pakistan said on India's statement against Temple demolition

Characterizing the adage ‘Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Date’, Pakistan has rejected India’s statement on the demolition of a Hindu temple in Karachi. On the contrary, Pakistan has accused India of persecuting Muslims.

On Wednesday, a Hindu temple was vandalised in the Korangi area of Karachi.

Regarding the matter, India’s External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, “This is a deliberate conspiracy against religious minorities.”

“We have lodged our protest with the government of Pakistan and reiterated our call for the safety and well-being of the minority communities living there,” Bagchi said on Thursday.

India had protested earlier as well

India has strongly opposed Pakistan over the demolition of a temple in Karachi.

“We have observed the incident of vandalism at a Hindu temple in Karachi, Pakistan. This is another link in the chain of systematic persecution of religious minorities,” India’s External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.

He said India had lodged a protest over the incident and urged Pakistan to protect its minorities.

Muslim countries silent on attack against Temple

Muslim countries and their global organization OIC have remained silent on the incident of vandalism of the Hindu Temple.

Not a single Muslim country has condemned this regrettable incident.

These same countries were advising India to respect all religions regarding the remarks of two expelled BJP leaders about the prophet pf Islam. However, India also slammed the OIC and Pakistan over this.
