The actor was married to her Dil Mil Gaye co-star Karan Singh Grover. The two won many accolades for their chemistry in the show and went on to become one of the most popular on-screen couples of all time. Therefore, when Jennifer married Karan, it was perceived as a match made in heaven. Karan divorced his first wife Shraddha Nigam to marry Jennifer. But the couple’s wedding did not last long. In just one year of marriage, the popular television got separated. Karan then married his Alone co-star Bipasha Basu.
Now, in a rare occasion, Jennifer has opened up about failed marriage with Karan Grover. Talking about her separation, she said it was devastating to her. The media would not give her the much-needed privacy and the social media commentary on her separation was painful. However, her work kept her going.
Talking about wedding with Karan after latter got hitched with Bipasha, Jennifer had earlier said, “It was an experience, and an amazing roller-coaster ride. There were some happy and sad moments. But I know that I gave my 500% (to my marriage), and no one can point a finger at me. I don’t regret a single day of my life. But, s**t happens. I don’t feel bitter or hold any grudges. I am in a happy space. People might think otherwise, but that’s not the case.”
