Jammu: Rajnath Singh targets Pakistan, says "neighbouring country sowing seeds of hatred"

Jammu:

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday accused Pakistan of “sowing seeds of hatred” while taking a note on the recent targeted killings in Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Minister was speaking here where he stressed upon the need to stop the innocent killings in the valley.

“Our neighbouring country is sowing the seeds of hatred. There’s foreign conspiracy in recent targeted killings in Jammu and Kashmir, we need to foil such attempts. We won’t let the forceful migration happen of any person from any religion or sect,” said the Union Minister.

In the fear of increasing targeted killings in Kashmir, non-local government employees in a huge number staged a massive demonstration demanding immediate transfers to their home districts.

The Defence minister on Friday also informed the completion of delimitation process and said, “Recently, the delimitation exercise concluded in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, Jammu will have 43 seats and Kashmir will have 47 seats in Vidhan Sabha.”

“There’s a strong possibility that the electoral process will commence by the end of this year in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.

Delimitation is a process of redrawing the boundaries of an Assembly or Lok Sabha seat carried out by a special commission. The delimitation process in the union territory was mandated after the abrogation of the Article 370.
