Underworld gangster S. Dayananda alias ‘Kota Daya’ was found dead at the foot of his bed in his boarding room in a two-storey building at Arawwala Rathna Mawatha in Maharagama yesterday.
The Maharagama Police said that he was 55 years old. His permanent resident was in Ambuldeniya, Mirihana.
Nugegoda Magistrate Priyantha Alwis inspected the site.
