Delhi: AAP leader Satyendra Jain to remain in ED custody till June 18

Delhi Health Minister and AAP leader Satyendra Jain, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case, will remain behind bars till June 18, as the court on Tuesday reserved its order on his bail plea.

Special Judge Gitanjali Goyal reserved the order till June 18 after hearing the arguments of AAP leader Satyendra Jain and the ED.

Satyendra Jain was arrested by the federal agency on May 30 under the criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The court had on June 9 extended Satyendra Jain’s ED custody by four days, following an application by the agency seeking his remand for another five days.

AAP leader Satyendra Jain is currently in judicial custody.
