Indian pacer Deepak Chahar tied the knot with the love of his life, Jaya Bhardwaj, in Agra on Wednesday evening. The couple tied the knot at the Jaypee Palace Hotel in Agra. The theme of the wedding ceremony was ‘The Royal Grandeur’ and now the newly-wed shared pictures from the evening on social media.
Deepak Chahar shared a picture on his Instagram and captioned it, “When I met you first time I felt that you are the one and I was right . We have enjoyed every moment of our life together and I promise you to keep you always happy like this. One of the best moment of my life. Everyone pls give your blessings to us.”
Ravi Bishnoi congratulated the couple in the comment section. “Congratulations bhaiya,” he wrote.
Ashok Menaria also congratulated the newly-wed. “Best wishes for a fun-filled future together and many many congratulations guys,” he wrote.
Jaya Bhardwaj also wrote a post about her husband saying, “He stole my Heart so I stole his Last name #married #loveforever.”
Indian skipper and Deepak’s Chahar cousin Rahul Chahar the first picture of the couple on his Instagram. Rahul is seen posing with the newly-wed couple and his wife Ishani Chahar. “Happy married life you two… Soooo happy for you and all the good wishes .. wishing you an amazing married life. Loads of Love,” he captioned.
Mr and Mrs Chachar also made this occasion memorable with their special performance. Deepak and Jaya won many hearts while performing on ‘Akela Hai Mr Khiladi…’ and ‘Heeriye Sahara Bandh Ke Main To Aaya Re…’.
There are reports that 60 cricketers were invited to the ceremony. Also, the wedding reception will be held on 3rd June at Delhi’s Kamal Mahal in ITC Maurya Hotel. The guest list includes top stars from CSK and team India. Also, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expected to attend the reception.
For the unversed, Deepak proposed to Delhi’s entrepreneur Jaya Bhardwaj at the stadium during IPL season 2021 last year. Both were in a relationship for a long time. Later it was revealed that MS Dhoni suggested he propose to Jaya at the stadium.
