Covid-19 Update:
There has been a big jump in the cases of Coronavirus in India. In the last 24 hours, more than 12 thousand cases of coronavirus have been reported.
The Union Health Ministry said that 12,213 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country. During this, 11 people have also died.
38.4 percent jump compared to yesterday
There has been a jump of 38.4 percent in the cases of coronavirus in the country today as compared to yesterday. On Wednesday, 8,822 cases of Covid-19 infection were reported. There has been an increase of 4,578 cases as compared to yesterday. The ministry said that 11 people have also died during this period.

Active case increasing tension
According to the report, 7,624 Covid-19 patients have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Active Covid-19 cases have now increased to 58,215. Active Covid-19 cases are 0.13 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate has gone up to 98.65 percent. The daily positivity rate is 2.35 percent while the weekly positivity rate has gone up to 2.38 percent.
So far 4 crore 32 lakh 57 thousand 730 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. 4 crore 26 lakh 74 thousand 712 people have been recovered from Covid-19.
Apart from this, a total of 5 lakh 24 thousand 803 people have also died. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 5,19,419 sample tests were done for coronavirus in India yesterday. Till yesterday a total of 85,63,90,449 sample tests have been done.
More than 95.67 crore vaccine doses were administered
Vaccination against Covid-19 is going on in the country. So far, more than 195.67 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered. More than 101.41 crore people have been given the first dose while more than 90.28 crore second dose has been given. Apart from this, more than 3.87 crore precaution doses have also been applied.
