CM Kejriwal enters Rajinder Nagar by-poll fray; to take out roadshows in support of AAP Candidate Durgesh Pathak

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will enter the Rajinder Nagar by-election fray starting tomorrow.  He is set to take out a series of roadshows in support of AAP Candidate Durgesh Pathak. The AAP National Convenor will hold roadshows on 17th,18th & 19th June in different parts of the Rajinder Nagar constituency. Several senior AAP leaders including Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Pathak will be present in these roadshows. There is a wave of enthusiasm and excitement among the people of Rajinder Nagar assembly constituency as well as AAP workers and supporters after this development. Notably, Rajinder Nagar goes into polls on 23rd June wherein the Aam Aadmi Party has chosen its trusted soldier & senior leader Pathak as its candidate.

During the last Delhi Assembly elections, AAP Senior Leader and present Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha was elected MLA from the Rajinder Nagar assembly seat.  Chadha had won the people’s mandate by a landslide margin.  The Aam Aadmi Party has now elevated Chadha to the Rajya Sabha, after which the Rajinder Nagar constituency fell vacant due to which a by-election is now being held on this seat.

Aam Aadmi Party has fielded senior party leader Durgesh Pathak from the seat.  The residents of the constituency are very happy with the developmental work done in Rajinder Nagar and are excited about the candidature of Durgesh Pathak.  Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and several senior leaders have been continuously appealing to the people of the area to make AAP’s candidate Pathak win with record votes, so that the developmental work of the area is not disrupted.

In this vein, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will hold a series of roadshows in different areas of Rajinder Nagar Assembly for the next three days and appeal to the people to vote in support of AAP Candidate Durgesh Pathak.  There is great enthusiasm among the workers and supporters of Aam Aadmi Party for Chief Minister Kejriwal’s roadshows to be held on June 17, 18 and 19.  He will be going among the people of the area during the roadshow and will appeal to them to send their candidate Durgesh Pathak with their blessings. AAP’s pitch to the voters this by-election is to elect AAP’s so that the progress of their work gets accelerated.
