Brahasmtra is one of the most-anticipated projects of all time. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles. The makers of Brahmastra have already dropped fierce looks of Ranbir as Shiva, Alia as Isha and Amitabh as Guru from the Ayan Mukerji directorial film. In the latest, Nagarjuna’s look from the film has been unveiled. On Saturday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared the first look poster of Nagarjuna Akkineni from their upcoming film, Brahmastra. Announcing the actor’s character Anish from the film, she wrote, “With the strength of a 1000 Nandi’s, meet Anish the Artist.” The trailer of the film is scheduled to release on June 15. In the poster, Nagarjuna is seen in a ruthless avatar and appears to be ready to fight with blood dripping from his forehead. His hands will be his weapon with the power of 1000 Nandi bulls, the vahana of Lord Shiva.
Ayan Mukerji also took to social media to share first look poster of Nagarjuna from the film and also gave an important insight into the character. Sharing the teaser, the director penned a long caption introducing Nagarjuna’s character and said, “ARTIST ANISH & HIS NANDI ASTRA. When I grow up (finally), I would want to be like Nagarjuna Garu (Nag Sir, to me) – A gentleman with the warmest of hearts!! He entered the world of Brahmāstra and gave his fierce intensity to our movie; touched our entire crew with his kindness and generosity; and greatly added to our dream – of creating a truly pan-India movie experience with Brahmāstra! His Nandi Astra, in my opinion, is one of the highlights of our movie! Some of that, in our Trailer on June 15th!!”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva will be the first instalment of a three-part epic trilogy. Brahmastra will release on September 9.
