Accused threatening to blow up RSS offices arrested in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: 

The accused who threatened to blow up the offices of RSS has been arrested. The accused has been arrested from Pudukudi, Tamil Nadu. The name of the accused is Raj Mohammad. The accused had threatened that 6 offices of RSS across the country will be blown up.

offices across the country, including two in Lucknow. The threat was made via WhatsApp. After receiving the threat, a case was also registered at the Madiyaon police station in Lucknow.

The police informed the media that the accused is a resident of Tamil Nadu. The Uttar Pradesh Police is bringing him to Lucknow with the help of the Tamil Nadu Police.

Threats were given from unknown numbers

The police further said that a person associated with RSS had got a link to join WhatsApp group from an unknown number in Lucknow. The group had threatened to blow up six RSS offices. Of these, four are in Karnataka and two are in Lucknow. 

The police registered a case on the complaint of Professor Neelkanth Tiwari. Meanwhile, after receiving a threatening message, the police immediately joined in the investigation.

The police had traced the unknown number. The location of the accused’s number was found in Tamil Nadu. UP police with the help of Tamil Nadu police took the accused into custody. The accused has been questioned. The case is still under investigation.
