The prices of steel and iron have also increased sharply in the last few days. In order to give relief to the public, the excise duty on raw materials and intermediates for iron and steel has also been reduced. That is, now steel and iron will also be cheaper. Excise duty exemption will also be given on some steel products.

The common have been suffering due to inflation for a long time. The situation is that the inflation rate has reached close to 7 percent. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has had to increase the repo rate by 40 basis points.
